Since last Monday (August 14th, 2023) more and more problems have occurred and are continuing to increase to this day. The router sporadically loses the DSL connection. This means that the Internet and also the telephone are cut off from the big wide world.
The router then manages to establish a DSL connection again after 5 minutes. After a short or sometimes longer time everything starts again from the beginning.
So if you call and suddenly don’t hear anything, you now know why. It was definitely not hung up, but rather the magenta communications association sporadically cuts off the DSL.
I (Ralf) have been cursing all the time because working from home becomes a game of chance when you’re working on a customer server or are in a customer phone call or a team meeting and suddenly nothing works anymore.
In any case, after 8 hours it was confirmed to me that there was a problem on the network and that we were probably also affected by it. We’re working on it… standard email.
UPDATE 19.08.2023
The network disruption appears to have been resolved by Telekom. There have been no more DSL disconnections since 3:00 a.m. tonight. So we can be reached on all channels again.
