After the basket market in Bouxurulles, we treat ourselves to a few days’ short break at the camping site “L’île aux mille Charmes”. A really beautiful but also quiet place. The owners are really friendly and take good care of the site, which they opened only recently.
Situated between the Canal des Vosges on one side and the Moselle on the other, and with the Blue Route (goes all the way to Lyon) for cyclists, it’s an idyllic place where we felt really comfortable and, above all, welcome from the very first minute.
We can unreservedly recommend the site for those who can or want to do without a pool area and animation programmes. There is enough playground equipment for children.
We have already booked our next short holiday.
