The news has been circulating in the rumour mill for a long time, but it is now certain and officially confirmed on the homepage of the Freyvolk zu Hohgenstaufen: The medieval market in Himbach will be cancelled this year and is planned for 2024.
We were really looking forward to an extended (camping) weekend with caravans, friends and acquaintances. Unfortunately, nothing will come of it now.
The reasons for the cancellation are being circulated in the grapevine. Every time we talk about it, we get more suspicions, but in the end this is an internal matter that we have to accept.

As written earlier here on our site, “regarding cancellation of the event” this has nothing to do with the municipality of Limeshain. Should this have been taken as such by the wording, we would like to politely apologise for this.
We are planning our 14th market for 2024 and hope that we can be there for you again as your Freyfolk zu Hohenstaufen.

Despite all the disappointment, we still look forward to the 14th Spektakulum in Himbach and look forward to it with memories of the past markets, then if we stay healthy and the association allows it, we would like to be there again.
