Theoretically, I could copy the post from March 2022 to this place. But there was a small deviation. With 5° on the thermometer and a 100% overcast sky with dark clouds, the light wind ensured that the day turned into a shivering match.
The subjectively felt temperature was clearly below that reported by the weathermen. The set-up was still bearable, but during the total of 8 hours, with hardly any movement, the cold finally got the upper hand.
However, the weather forecast did not stop the visitors from visiting the farmers’ market in a steady and even stream until about 4 pm. The assumption that it would be a lonely market was therefore not confirmed.
I already had my Easter egg baskets with me and they also found “little” buyers, the purchase of which was sponsored by grandma in one case. But it’s not Easter eggs that go into the basket, but sweets, according to the comment of the now proud basket owner.
Small facts that, at least for a short time, made us forget the cold. But when, as if on cue, the visitors suddenly disappeared around 16:30 and the first raindrops hit the ground, we decided to dismantle the stand early and quickly put it away.
After a test meal in a ristorante in Bad Salzhausen, which was still unknown to us, we had to go home to warm up.
So that was the very cool start to the 2023 market season.
