I always have to decide which activity I will carry out in my workshop for the next few days or even weeks based on the order situation. Wicker chairs are currently in great demand. However, I know from experience that the time until the next market at the beginning of March passes faster than I would like.
So I’m faced with the decision what do I do next? Only one of the two works.
Since I also have to meet the demand for certain basketry items, I have decided not to accept any more orders for chair weave before March 2023.
There are still a few chairs waiting to finally receive a new weave and of course I’m still working on them. But then for me it’s all about weaving baskets with whatever my hands can bear.
