The last farmers’ market in Bad Salzhausen this year will take place on October 30th. I then put up my market tent one last time and offer my basketry for sale. Because for me too, my market season for this year ends at 5 p.m. We then go into winter break for four months.
However, that doesn’t mean that I’ll sit back and relax until next year, but we’ll be busy weaving original Wetterauer basketry during this period until March. In addition, the supply of braiding material must also be replenished. A slightly different kind of shopping spree in Upper Franconia at my dealers is on the agenda. And a few chair weaves have also been announced. I definitely won’t get bored.
The monthly farmers’ markets in Bad Salzhausen will continue again on March 5, 2023.
