Spring, a love of the market and travel are in the air

After freezing your ass off at the farmers’ market in March and (having to) skip April, spring now begins in May with much more pleasant temperatures and, above all, other markets that have been missed for a long time.

But first back to the farmers’ market in Bad Salzhausen, which finally said goodbye to the dreary winter season with sunshine and lots of colorful flowers. And many visitors apparently thought so too.

A pleasant and successful market day in Bad Salzhausen in May, which will be followed by another market shortly. The guild and crafts market is finally taking place again in Seligenstadt. On May 21st and 22nd, more than 100 exhibitors will show old crafts on the grounds of the old Benedictine abbey and in the museum, thereby saving them from oblivion. The Klatschmohn Seligenstadt e.V. association organizes this event every 2 years (with the exception of the Corona years 2020/2021) and I am happy to be there again.

And just a few days later we drive to Bouxurulles for the Les 10è Rencontres Autour du Saule. However, as visitors, let us be surprised by what our French colleagues have to offer when it comes to willow processing. This festival also had to be suspended for two years due to Corona and we are all the more excited about what awaits us. But the main thing – France.
