That it will be cool with 5° on Sunday. We could already see that from the weather forecast. But with a little sun it should be bearable in Bad Salzhausen. Actually….
At first it was as expected. Sun from the left and shadow from the right. But the later it got, the more clouds gathered and with them the warming rays of sunshine disappeared. The wind contributed to the feeling that it was getting colder and colder. In retrospect, we had the feeling that we had never experienced such a cold market day. Of course that’s not true and must be due to age ;-)
But we held on bravely and shivered warmly and hoped that we would feel warm again when we dismantled it and put it in the car. And the prospect of the heated car seats spurred you on to load everything quickly.
A cold start to the 2022 season, but also a start with truly surprising success. The dry weather attracted many visitors to the spa park after the four-month winter break and we took home less basketry than we had taken with us in the morning.
As a reward for the eight hours of cold, we stopped at the community center in Nidda on the way home and warmed up with a delicious Greek meal.
