A friend recently asked me if I could repair the handle of a small carboy for him. The repair itself wasn’t the problem. Since the carboy itself was braided with an old braid, the new handle with a light-colored paddy tube was of course very noticeable. So the handle had to be stained and trimmed back to its old appearance.
I hope my friend likes the way I implemented it. In any case, the bottle can now be safely used again at medieval markets.
