Before the vacation, Ralf sawed out three small frames and drilled holes for me. These came to Corsica in the luggage together with cotton braided ribbon in the colors antique and natural and were intended as a little activity for not so nice days.
Well, the weather was actually nice all the time, so I sat on the terrace of our holiday home in the shade and little by little weaved out the frames.
However, the campaign also has an ulterior motive. The frames are now always taken to the markets. And whenever the topic of chair weave comes up and I say that I only use cotton braid because of the poor quality of the natural material, I can now show exactly these frames instead of just showing the thin threads.
This is the best way to see the difference between the natural and antique colors.
