As is well known, I was a basket maker at the medieval market in Münzenberg on the long Pentecost weekend in 2017. A young woman stood in front of me and asked if I could make her a small basket out of unpeeled willow. Since I was also giving a weaving course at the same time, there were enough willows available and I started weaving this little basket after I finished the weaving course.
What was to be transported in the basket was clear and so were the dimensions. The young woman then picked up the basket and she seemed to like it too. When I handed it over I asked for a picture with content. And a few days ago I got the picture I was promised.

The four fit in perfectly and immediately felt comfortable in the basket and, above all, they stayed in it. It’s also perfect for looking out if you’re curious.

PS: And thank you again so much for making it for me so quickly.
Dear Selina, I was happy to do that and thank you for the picture. I hope you continue to enjoy the basket and hope the animals will continue to enjoy being carried around the area in such comfort in the future.
