About Confucius, patience and two back braids

⏱️ 1 min read

Confucius already knew it:
If you are not patient in small things, you will cause big projects to fail.
What does this have to do with me as a basket maker? A lot at the moment.

Half of my patience is used up with the first back braid. I now use the remaining 50 percent with the second chair. Lots of drill holes, a thin woven chair tube and a curved backrest, you really need a quote from Confucius.

A very time-consuming job that I’m doing at the moment. The braiding is taking longer than I would actually like, so I can’t afford to be impatient. Because Else Pannek (German poet) has already recognized this: impatience only sees the goal, not the ways to get there.

Enough of the sayings and quotes. Now I’m taking action.
