Last Sunday, 3 March 2024, the weather gave us all real spring fever. Instead of the last two years, this time we felt really cosy with temperatures of around 15 degrees and lots of sunshine. It was nice not to have to shiver and chatter our teeth from the cold.
We were delighted that we were able to show our Chateau blanc and Chateau rouge together with Grobauer Leder on a more than 9 metre long sales front of local craftsmanship. Leather and wicker goods from the region and we are both recognised as Wetterau originals. It doesn’t get any better than this.
Sunshine, pleasant temperatures and the farmers’ market in the spa gardens helped to attract many visitors. The market was very well attended throughout the day and with two spa concerts by City Rhythm with popular hits, mostly from the 60s and 70s, the atmosphere was exuberant. And quite a few wicker goods were also sold.
The only fly in the ointment was the lack of park benches. This meant that older and physically impaired people unfortunately had no opportunity to rest for a while.
