Preparations underway for Seligenstadt

⏱️ 2 min read

Preparations are in full swing for the guild and craft market in Seligenstadt on 25 and 26 May. The Klatschmohn association is busy providing all participants with information and I’m sure they have a lot more on their agenda than I do.

As has been the case since 2012, I will once again be at the Regiomuseum with my stand (#106). And this time, too, I will of course be showing a small part of my basket-making work, which I learnt at the basket-making school in Lichtenfels from 1980 to 1983.

Andreas AKA Groby from Lederstübchen will also be in the room (stand #105). The two of us will be representing the Wetterauer Originale and we will certainly have a good time. If the weather holds out and it at least stays dry, more than 10,000 people are sure to visit the market again.

Over the next few days I will continue to prepare everything and am looking forward to setting up on Friday. However, I won’t be revealing what I will be showing as a basket maker. If you want to know, you have to come along. The Klatschmohn association is happy about every (paying) visitor. The entrance fee of € 8 is still moderate for the old craftsmanship on display.
