Not only will the farmers’ market in September not take place in the Kurpark in Bad Salzhausen as usual, but as part of the autumn market in Nidda itself, I won’t be there but will instead be attending the Open Monument Day at Nidda Castle a week later on 8 September 2024.
For me, the atmosphere of a farmers’ market doesn’t go well with a funfair, fairground and marquee. In my market experience, such a constellation has never turned out to be a successful combination of two contrasting events. That’s why I cancelled the date of the farmers’ market on 1 September 2024 at the beginning of the year.
Instead, I will be at the artists’ market at Nidda Castle one week later on 8 September 2024 for the Open Monument Day.
