I’m going to extend my planned break (see here). Following my operation, I’m not really feeling up to it, and I don’t feel fit either.
As a result, I won’t be taking on any commissioned work until further notice, and I’m also cancelling my participation in the upcoming farmers’ market on 2 August in Bad Salzhausen. Thanks to the Da Vinci surgery, I’ve been spared a large abdominal incision. However, that doesn’t mean I’ll have a shorter period of rest and recovery. For between 4 and 6 weeks, I must avoid heavy lifting, physical exertion and anything that causes a sudden rise in blood pressure in the abdominal cavity.
So, for the time being, this is the situation for me:
no market, no commissions, no basket-weaving, no repairs
