<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nTwo participants registered for today’s braiding course. This meant I could focus more intensively on each individual, which also meant that the goal could be set a little higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But first, as always, it began with the flooring and braiding out the floor. After it was completed, a foot chine was first braided on. The finished basket will then stand on this later, thus protecting the actual bottom of the basket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the stands were sharpened and staked, the foot chine was braided with 2×4 willows. And only then were the displays erected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From here everything went as usual. The hull chine and layer were braided and pairs of willows, which inevitably arise due to the braiding technique, were broken up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the basket had increased in height, the clothespins were used. These served as spacers to weave in integrated handles.
