With the last farmers‘ market in Bad Salzhausen last weekend, the 2018 market season came to an end for me. It was cold and, above all, windy, so the big pot of hot tea was there and saved us through the day. At least my hands were warm every now and then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As expected, there weren’t many market visitors. And so it was nice that Andreas from Lederst\u00fcbchen Ranstadt and Astrid visited us with a hot pot of tea. Sitting at the stand, people talked about this and that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since a somewhat strong gust of wind kept blowing through the Kurallee, it was inevitable that a tent (garden pavilion) became independent. The strange thing was that the tent legs were not secured with pegs, but rather beautiful white pebbles (2cm diameter) were draped in small piles around the base. After all, stones are heavy :-) But it didn’t help; The tent ended up lying on the street at some point. I am now assuming that the stones were not really intended as storm protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So now the market-free period begins for me. But that doesn’t mean you’re really free. There are still a few things to do and try out. Because next year I will also be offering weaving courses for wicker decorations. I’ve already recruited Astrid as a guinea pig so that I can gain some experience. So you can be excited.<\/p>\n\n\n
