Very close to the metropolis of Frankfurt, but still very different, it is a special region. Quieter, more intense, with nature on your doorstep, a place to reflect and arrive, Oberhessen is just such a place. Here it is more personal, more open and closer. Numerous springs feed streams and rivers, water washes valuable substances from volcanic rock. We look back on a fascinating history, be it Celtic treasures, Roman remains or a building culture centred around palaces, castles or our old towns, which is more than just a roof over your head.
