A small market was held at Nidda Castle at the same time as the Open Monument Day on 8 September. We decided to set up the tent and tables the day before in order to avoid possible traffic chaos on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Sunday morning, before 9 o’clock, the rest of my wickerwork was set up. And at 10 a.m., the first guided tour of the castle started with the guests who had already secured their tickets in advance. Even the forecast rain showers did not deter visitors from visiting both the market and the castle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was pleasantly surprised by the popularity of my wickerwork because, as always, I attend a market without any great expectations. At best, a market day can surprise me positively but never disappoint me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Towards the afternoon, the rain showers started, sometimes heavy and sometimes just dripping. The longer rain break from 5pm was then used to pack up and dismantle, while other stands had already completely disappeared and were on their way home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was a shame that the weather wasn’t as favourable as we’d hoped. But even with the high humidity, it was an interesting and successful market for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>
