The official flyer for the dates of the 2026 farmers‘ markets in Bad Salzhausen is now online. Please note the dates at the end of March and the end of August. The markets for April and September have been brought forward to the end of the previous month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instead of Easter Sunday (April) and the autumn market (September), these two markets will be moved to the last Sunday of the previous month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This may seem strange, and Ralf believes that this decision could cause confusion, at least among the many regular visitors. After all, it is much easier to remember the first Sunday of the month than two dates that are then brought forward by a week and suddenly take place at the end of the previous month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyway…here is the flyer for the farmers‘ markets with the dates for this year, with a special note about the date changes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
April (Easter Sunday) -> end of March and September (autumn market) -> end of August<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

On a personal note, I would like to mention that, based on current information, the farmers‘ market will continue to take place as usual in the lower spa gardens until May, as work will then begin in the spa gardens for the 2027 State Garden Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether, how and where the farmers‘ market will take place from June 2026 onwards. Those responsible at Nidda Town Council are still working on a possible solution.
