The Louis Philippe chair will soon be finished.
The seat almost made me despair. Despite the narrow braiding threads, it became really tight and I had to re-weave some threads later.
But as you can see, the seat is finished and the backrest is in progress. Things are moving much faster here too. The only unusual thing is the odd number of drill holes; namely 73 in number.

And while I finish weaving the Louis Philippe, my husband starts preparing the next chairs. The old mesh needs to be removed and the drill holes cleaned. And this sometimes turns out to be very time-consuming, as the old braid was glued into the drill holes with a lot of glue. But luckily he is a patient and careful old weave remover.

Three of these chairs are on order.
