Because of the short journey, we arrived at Glauberg around 9:00 a.m. In bright sunshine, the construction of the market tent progressed quickly and everything was ready for visitors before 10:00 a.m.
The slightly sloping terrain hindered my weaving demonstration somewhat (the tool kept slipping), but it was still possible to get used to it after a short time.
At first there were clouds in front of the sun and it immediately became noticeably cooler, but from midday until evening you could sizzle in the sun and many a market patron wished for a deck chair.
Despite many events in the surrounding area, the Spring Festival was well attended. The demonstration of basket making attracted many visitors to my stand and I was happy to answer all questions from young and old throughout the day.
Dismantling and driving home went quickly in the evening and Ralf took a sunburn home with him as a souvenir.
