2 days of guild and crafts market in the Seligenstadt monastery are behind me. Around a hundred craftsmen enlivened the monastery grounds and the landscape museum. And the beautiful weather attracted many visitors to Seligenstadt.
Since the market only takes place every two years, there is always a lot of interest and it was a lot of fun and many of my baskets found a new owner.
This time I did the weaving demonstration with willow (two years ago it was the fine weaving). I experimented a bit with the Perigordin technique. And that met with great interest among the visitors.
In the middle of the action, a customer with another person in tow came straight towards me with a backpack carrying basket. We had previously talked about Kiepen and Kötzen. And I should make exactly these or something similar for her. So we took measurements and took a few photos.
As soon as we got back home, preparations were already underway for the next market in Dreieich-Sprendlingen in the Bürgerpark. So if you missed me in Seligenstadt you can meet me there. I would be happy.
