It was possible to set up on Saturday when the weather was beautiful. The bright sun gave hope that numerous visitors would come.
Looking at the day, there weren’t that many visitors who found their way to the Bürgerpark. But there were still enough to have a lively conversation about basket making and chair weaving. For the demonstration I had a chair with me and I replaced the seat.
Sunday also showed its sunny side in terms of weather. Visitors streamed into the park well before 11:00 a.m. And here, too, the guests’ interest in basket making was evident and I was repeatedly told how nice it was that this old profession was still being shown and trained.
But despite many beautiful and great things, sales were not as hoped. But that’s how it is with the markets.
