Morning fog welcomed me on September 6th, 2014 at the NABU Ortenberg clubhouse. And so I had to decide whether the braiding course should take place indoors or outdoors.
Ultimately, the participants made this decision for me. Since the outside temperature was quite pleasant, everything was quickly prepared outside for the braiding course. And the sun quickly drove away the fog.
So weaving was done with willow when the weather was nice. In between there was the obligatory refreshment in the form of a vegetarian soup, which anyone who liked could add chicken.
Now strengthened, we went on to the second round, namely braiding the layer. In between, a curious onlooker looked on. But I don’t think I can welcome him to one of my next braiding courses.
The baskets were finished woven on time. With a little help from me with the rear sight, everyone was (hopefully) happy to take their first woven baskets home with them.
