Naturprodukte Erden is all about flowers, roses and garden decoration. And when I was asked a long time ago whether I would take part in a court festival, I spontaneously said yes.
Located right at the entrance to Nidda Ober-Schmitten (coming from Nidda), we met on October 3rd, 2014 for the court festival. There was also a ceramist from Scotland who makes pottery garden decorations. We set up in sunshine and pleasant temperatures and you immediately felt comfortable and welcome.
I was able to place my basketry right in the middle of the action. I brought a chair with me and braided the seat.
Little by little the guests arrived and by the afternoon it was really crowded. Rose coffee, rose cake and rose champagne sold extremely well. The guests sat down around me and watched me work. Many questions were asked, all of which I was happy to answer in detail.
So the time passed quickly until 6 p.m. and it was very slow to put things away. A rose champagne was served at the end and everyone toasted to a wonderful day together.
The hosts were very attentive to their guests the entire time. But they also always looked after us participants in their friendly way. It was like being in a big family and everyone felt welcome.
