Preparation for Münzenberg

Preparations for the medieval festival in Münzenberg and below the Münzenburg have been in full swing for several days. In addition to making baskets, there was an important item on the list: the market tent definitely had to be waterproofed.

This requires dry weather for a few hours and that happened last Saturday. According to the weather forecast, it should finally stay dry. So the medieval market tent was put up and Ralf set about waterproofing the tent fabric. Fortunately, the course tent had never been exposed to rain and should still be sufficiently waterproof.

But the weather forecast lied and it started to rain lightly in the late afternoon. So I went into the garden and checked whether the fabric was dry yet. Luckily that was the case and we quickly dismantled the entire tent and stowed it back in the garden shed.

So prepared, the Medieval Festival can now start for us over Pentecost. But we still don’t need a leak test over the Pentecost weekend. So we hope for dry weather with pleasant temperatures.
