Great weather in Bellmuth. Sun all the way and no worrying clouds in the sky. There seemed to be a few more visitors today. And with it more comments like “We didn’t know we had a basket maker in Ranstadt”. And that’s exactly why I was there. A little bit of advertising in the larger community is also necessary.

The best thing was to hear that my baskets and therefore my work were recommended to others. You could almost have thought that some of the visitors came specifically to me. Something like that builds you up and shows me that I’m on the right path.

It ended at 6:00 p.m. and the dismantling, including loading of the basketry, dismantling the tent and the journey home, was completed in 60 minutes. Not that we wanted to leave so quickly. No, there was just so much space that everyone could park their vehicles right in front of the tents; so short distances.

The medieval market was familiar and the support from the idea providers and organizers was really exemplary. It was fun and maybe we’ll see each other at the 1000th anniversary? It’s not that long anymore.
