After arriving at Schloßplatz in Büdingen. No one there to show you where to stand and no markings to be seen. So Ralf quickly called the store management in Oberhof via Taschenherold (cell phone).
The statement that the market management in Oberhof is not responsible is confusing at first. We had to go to the registry office, they said.
But we are already married :-)
The route to the registry office wasn’t far and after a short wait we were able to ask for our stand. There was also a gentleman who was very, very impatient and upset that he had been waiting since 3 p.m. and wasting his oh-so-precious time and also wanted to push his way forward.
Well, politeness and friendliness pay off, because we were accompanied to our stand by the responsible city employee. The unfriendly gentleman, on the other hand, was left standing in the registry office.
We thanked them with a smile and were able to start building at our leisure. As you can see, we are standing on the castle square by the church.
Now we’re curious to see how exactly everything fits, because there were still a lot of gaps and many dealers will probably only set it up today.
We are looking forward to three days of beautiful weather, lots of visitors and a great medieval festival in Büdingen.
