The canoe builder Thomas Braun and I have been working together off and on for some time now. Coincidence brought us together about 2 years ago when Thomas was looking for someone to make the canoe seats for him. I’m extremely happy that he found me.
The physical proximity to each other makes it easier to work together and the two different crafts make his canoes something special.
At first it was difficult for me to imagine canoe seats being woven. But after a visit to Thomas, it quickly became clear that canoe seats with a traditional seat weave could be implemented. And since then, many a canoe seat has found its way into my workshop.
I’m a little proud to be able to contribute to his beautiful canoes.
