Really the last one? Not quite. Two participants registered for the course, but only 50% showed up. The other 50% stayed away from class with excuses.
So the last braiding course will take place next Monday, November 16th, 2015.
For today’s repeat braiding course participant, this meant weaving a basket with handles. The basics of ground cross, rear sight and shift were still in place, so I only had to give a little help. Surely someone has been practicing?!
The handle with cross-tie was the crowning achievement of today’s braiding course. And the whole basket turned out really well, as you can see.
The second half of the “one-day” braiding course will begin on Monday. Here I have to convey the basics of braiding, which should then be sufficient for a design project. I am excited.
