The first braiding course is over. Three beginners and one advanced woman embarked on the adventure of weaving with willow.
For beginners, the basics of weaving were taught and a large bowl was woven from unpeeled willow.
Our advanced participant was able to weave an oval handle basket in her third course.
Only briefly interrupted by a vegan lunch, none of the participants stayed at the lunch table for long. Everyone wanted to finish their weaves.
Finally, all that was left was the handle basket. And since no one has ever finished the weaving course without a finished basket, things progressed with a little help from me. Last but not least, the handle basket was finished.
I hope all participants enjoy the wicker basket they made themselves.
