Blue skies and bright sunshine promised a beautiful market day in Bad Salzhausen. at the farmers market. A reason for me to finally show something from the basket making genre again. So I took a chair with me and started weaving out the seat. As usual, it was always an eye-catcher throughout the day and some visitors looked excitedly over my shoulder.
However, the number of visitors today was not as big as 5 weeks ago. We can only speculate as to whether it was too warm at 25° or whether the many other events in the surrounding area were a reason for this.
At 5 p.m., the end of the workday began as usual and we dismantled quite comfortably.
The next farmers’ market will take place in Bad Salzhausen on June 5th, 2016. Let’s see what I can show visitors as a trained basket maker. But now it’s time to prepare for the medieval market in Münzenberg, which will take place next weekend on the three days over Pentecost.
