The weather forecast didn’t really promise anything good days before. The days were characterized by thunderstorms and rain. As a result, the humidity had also skyrocketed. When we set up on Sunday, the sun was shining and sweat was pouring out of every pore. And this despite the fact that we moved in slow motion.

But we don’t want to complain about the weather. It was dry, sunny and warm.

I have no idea why, but there were fewer visitors, as usual. Was it because the weather forecasts predicted heavy thunderstorms?

Those who did decide to visit the farmers’ market were at least able to look at my basketry without crowds and some pasture-raised fish were bought. The chair I had brought with me once again enticed many visitors to look over my shoulder. So the time passed with some discussions and advice on the care of chair braids.

About 30 minutes before the end of the market the sky became cloudy. The clouds were getting darker and thunder could be heard rumbling in the distance. Every market supplier with a tent looked up and suddenly everyone was packing up. There were almost no market visitors anymore. So we also slowly started loading everything into the car. The storm was slowly approaching but it remained dry until the tent was loaded.
