Braiding course and farmers market and already the preparations for the next market

The first weekend in May was again the focus of the braiding course and farmers market. On Saturdays, weaving with unpeeled willow took place again in the NABU Ortenberg clubhouse. Two bowls with interventions were calmly woven. And a course participant then stopped by the stand at the farmers market on Sunday. Apparently she was infected with the lichen virus the day before because she indicated that she would take another course and deepen her knowledge. There are still places available at the next braiding courses. So nothing stands in the way of your wish.

My new market tent also premiered at the farmers’ market in Bad Salzhausen. At 4.5m x 3m, it is slightly larger and, above all, heavier than the previous one, but it is a lot quicker to set up and take down again. The next markets will show how the goods are best presented with so much more space. In any case, the farmers’ market was well attended despite the overcast sky and the interest in my baskets can also be described as very good.

And as soon as the weekend is over, preparations for the next market on Mother’s Day begin. The Glauberg and the Celtic world will be my stand next Sunday (May 14, 2017). I’ll take some willows with me and if you like you can weave a trullutz.

And preparations are also underway for the gardeners’ market in Ortenberg on May 27, 2017. I will also have my stand there. May is basically a time to get in the mood for June and July, where I’m at a market almost every weekend. It will be tiring but I’m still looking forward to these markets. So off to the workshop and weave new baskets. Maybe we’ll see each other at one market or another.
