We’ve just had the last market in 2017 and hey presto – the 2018 season is just around the corner. In a week it will (finally) start again. My schedule for this year has been set for a long time and I am not accepting any more events.
I even managed to produce baskets in advance during the market-free period. Because part of it is in the Ranstadt creative and gourmet shop. So in the last few weeks it has been a matter of soaking and processing willow trees. Just not baskets exclusively with brown willow. To me they always smack of cheap imports. And so I always used just a little bit of brown or black willow as a color accent. Or simply incorporate seaweed cord. In any case, I am well equipped with baskets for the next markets.
