Children’s weaving course under the plane tree

12 children came together to weave with colorful wicker at the town of Ortenberg’s holiday games.

Sitting in the shade of the large plane tree, we braided things, sometimes independently and sometimes with a little support. The professionals, who had already taken part several times over the last four years, got started straight away. Everyone else needed a little help now and then. But each specimen was ultimately unique in its own colors. After three hours, each weaving student was finished and could take a finished basket home with them.

I would like to thank my friend Anna, who helped me along with Tara.
