The Corona crisis is dictating public life at the moment and with it my little basket-making business and upcoming appointments. As written in the last post, the first events have already been canceled and there will certainly be many more cancellations to come.
The farmers’ market on May 3rd in Bad Salzhausen has also been canceled. And I also had to cancel my braiding course on May 2nd. Since all major events have been canceled until August 31, 2020, it remains to be seen what else I can delete from my calendar.
It’s sometimes shocking what’s happening here and around the world. But I also understand the measures that have been ordered. Certainly I would love to be among people at a market. But luckily I can continue weaving in my small workshop without public access. As long as my material storage is full, I can keep myself busy.
So we just have to wait and see how life continues and, above all, hope that we stay healthy.
