Although markets and events are gradually being canceled, I still have a lot to do. And that surprises me a little. And in a positive sense.
On the one hand, there is the baby basket, which is to be rewoven according to the old pattern. And on the other hand, I receive more or less regular inquiries about chair weaves that need to be renewed. The chairs are always handed over to me at a great distance, because what needs to be done can be clarified in advance via email and photos.
Here’s an example of the baby basket that I’m currently building. And the basket doesn’t fit in a normal bathtub for soaking the final rear sight. A few more liters of capacity are required.

And so despite Corona, the financial losses are still relatively limited for me. And I’m happy about that in these difficult times.
All that remains to be seen is how things will continue in the future. Despite the easing, this nasty virus will definitely have us under control for a long time. And I sincerely hope that we will all be spared a relapse because of the easing of restrictions.
Since the community shop in Nidda, namely Ranstadt Kreativ, has been open again since April 20th, my basketry (and not only that) is also for sale on the shelf there. Because of the small store space, only one customer is allowed into the store at a time. I ask you to note and take this into account.
