Last Sunday, 7 April 2024, the farmers’ market took place again in Bad Salzhausen. Ranstädter Handwerk and Wetterauer Originale were represented with a good 10 metres of sales front.
With handmade and self-produced basket and leather goods, the two market tents of Korbmacherei Kreative Finger and Grobauer-Leder stand side by side at the farmers’ market and form a common shopping line for visitors.

After setting up and documenting our own and neighbouring stands, the official market time was reached at 10:00 a.m. and the first visitors were already out and about in the Kurpark. And the weather did what the forecast had promised: dry and a pleasant 22 degrees with the sun hidden by the Sahara dust.
As always, the farmers’ market was accompanied by music. To cut a long story short: It was definitely not to our taste, nor that of many others.
Or, to quote D. Bohlen, “The question is: where does the singing end and the offence begin?”. We bravely put up with it.
Many conversations and consultations with customers, acquaintances and friends kept us entertained, so that the time until the end of the market seemed much shorter. A predominantly beautiful market day came to an end at 17:00.
