The Johannimarkt took place in the castle park in Stockhausen from June 28th to 29th, 2014. Despite the somewhat cool and damp weather, visitors were not dissuaded from visiting the market.
Even the occasional rain shower couldn’t stop anyone from strolling from stall to stall and buying the goods on offer. There was a lot of interest in the basketry and some conversations about the work of a basket maker took a long time.
It’s always funny that Ralf is often addressed directly, even though the company sign says basket maker. That’s always the time when we both can’t help but smile.
So the two market days went by in no time and on Sunday at 6 p.m. it was time to finish work and dismantle. And in 2015 I will try to take part in this beautiful market again.
